Thank You!

Have been posting every day since January, and slowly seeing my views climb. I'm so grateful. Didn't touch this blog for years, though, admittedly, for no particular reason. It's been so much fun to post again and have a creative outlet, and a space to share my passions with the world. Awesome to see my audience growing. I'm enjoying every second. A gargantuan thank you to everyone who takes time every day to peak in on my little corner of the internet. Love sharing with you guys.

Emotional…

 Okay, y'all. You might think this is silly to post about, but here we go. Was just going through my Amazon library, and decided to delete things I don't use anymore. Stopped using my Kindle around 2020, but have held onto the books for some reason, even though I gave it away months ago. Looking through the books brought back so many incredible memories. The invention of the Kindle opened an entirely new world to me. Because of my disability, it is extremely difficult to keep a book open and turn pages. Always loved to read, but the amount of effort that went into enjoying a physical book just wasn't worth it. Needless to say, the Kindle changed my life, and I have become a voracious reader. I switched to audiobooks around 2020 because of the toll looking down at my Kindle took on my neck over the years. If it's possible, I'm enjoying reading even more now. It's become my absolute favorite thing to do. Anyway, went on quite the side quest there. The original point of this post is just to say that I am grateful for my reading evolution, will always be grateful to the Kindle, and got emotional removing all the digital books from my library. Can't believe the first one I ever bought was way back on January 6, 2009. Time sure does fly.

 Since I started blogging again, I've wanted to change the look and layout, but wasn't satisfied with any of the given options. Was bored this morning and decided to tinker a little.  Turns out it was much easier than I thought. So thrilled with how it came out. Love anything black and white. There are a few things I wish I could change, but I think it would require JavaScript and/or HTML knowledge, of which I have none. Happy with how it came out using the little skills I have. What does everyone think? Please feel free to leave a comment.

Feeling The Love!

 Just wanted to hop on really quick to say thank you. Checked my stats, and I have over 1,000 page views in the last month. This is fantastic! So good to be back, have a creative outlet again, and feel the support. Extremely grateful. Who knows what we could do on this new leg of the journey. Thanks for coming along with me, I hope you stick around, and maybe we can even grow this a little bit.

 I have been blogging again these last few days, and I have to say, it feels amazing to be back. I don't know how many people are going to see my posts, or be interested in anything I share, but, it's a good creative outlet, and it's making me happy.

So, I know it's been a very long time. Not going to promise to stick to a certain schedule or anything, but I am going to try to start posting again. I used to enjoy this very much, and don't even really know why I stopped. It's a really good creative outlet. Hopefully, we will see you again very soon.

Six Months!

I absolutely cannot believe I've been daily blogging for six months today. So crazy! Just want to thank all my readers for the support. It's been wonderful to see my audience slowly growing. Hopefully I can keep it up, and you guys like what's coming. Thank you.

Last June, I surprised Mrs. Cabral and Sara with tickets to see the national tour of If/Then in Providence. Was one of my best experiences in recent memory. The production was flawless, and the company was perfect.

Maintenance…

It's funny. Ever since I started blogging again earlier this year, I'm picking up on things I must have missed. Little grammatical, and spelling mistakes here and there. Pictures with big gaps between them. Things like that. I know it probably didn't make a difference to anyone, but I'm somewhat of a perfectionist. If anyone reading notices something that doesn't seem quite right, feel free to bring it to my attention. I want the experience when you visit to be the best possible.

One Month Down…

I would like to take a quick moment to say thank you. Been back at this blogging thing for a month now, and the response has been wonderful. It feels great to know my thoughts and opinions are resonating with you guys. Your support means a great deal. Thank you.

YAY!

NBC has renewed my favorite new show, This Is Us, for two more seasons! Such awesome news! This show has everything anyone could possibly want. The writing is incredible. Acting is realistic and powerful. Humor arrives exactly when needed. Pacing is on-point. Intricate storytelling. Absolutely everything. I couldn't be more thrilled!

Crazy!

Have been looking back on old posts lately, and it's crazy to see how much my opinions have changed. Reading old wrestling entries has been almost embarrassing. I guess it really is true. People grow and mature as time passes. You truly never stop learning. It's good to look back on for a laugh, though.

Girl Meets…Cancellation!

So sad to learn of the cancellation of Girl Meets World. Have been watching from the beginning, and love it so much. Had to check it out, because the original series is one of my all-time favorite shows. Fell in love immediately. I think part of the reason I'm so sad is because you don't see shows like this today. Heart, morals, and life lessons are|a rarity on TV today. Would definitely be nice if that wasn't the case someday. Will always have a special place in my heart for the Mathews family, and hope this goodbye isn't forever.

Resolution?

Okay, I know I've been gone for a long time. I'm sorry. I just had a lot going on. With the new year, I'm going to do my best to get back to posting. I really do enjoy it. I won't call it a resolution, because that puts unnecessary pressure on me. You have my word, though. You're definitely going to hear much more from me in 2017.

Found this the other day! It's one of the headers to my old website. Was devastated when I had to give it up so quickly, and thought I'd lost everything forever. Found a site where almost everything is archived, and got most of it back! Most of it will be posted by the time this is up. So awesome!

Where There's A Will...

Probably wondering what your looking at.  My chair broke the other day, and the technician was unable to fix it when he came.  Was told my left motor let go, and it wasn't safe to drive.  Was devastated at the thought of having to cancel my trip to New York, not to mention being advised to stay in my apartment.  Shortly after that crushing blow, Shanon discovered the real problem.  What is it that was supposed to leave me immobile for the better part of two months?  A LOOSE NUT!  Tons of unnecessary worry and drama over a loose nut!  Was put back in place, and secured to the best of my ability.  Haven't had a problem since!  Sometimes, the simplest solution...
