Rowdy Dreamer!

After what seems like forever, Tim and I went to a TRP event last night in Fall River.  As you can see, we got to meet, take a picture with, and get an autograph from Rowdy Roddy Piper!  So awesome!  When I asked him how he was doing, he responded in classic form.  "I'm as good as a box of fluffy ducks!"  So awesome!

Tommy Dreamer was there too, and we had a great little chat!  At the end of his match, a little later, he threw the shirt he was wearing to me!  Was kind of disgusting being hit in the face with a sweat-soaked t-shirt, but awesome of him.  The newest item in my wrestling collection!  Such a fun night!

WOW!

About a week and a half ago, I read that Maria Kanellis was going to be making a personal appearance for TRP.  As you can imagine, being that I think she's the most beautiful woman alive, I just had to be there.  The expression on my face says it all!  I've never been dumbstruck by beauty before.  Unbelievable perfection!

Oh, yeah!  There was wrestling too!  The sixth annual Kowalsk Cup was amazing!  Big credit to my best bud, Tim!  He predicted that Matt Magnum would win it all, and he did!  I've said it countless times before.  There's absolutely nothing better than spending time with my best broski watching wrestling!

Fabulousity!

Went to TRP the other night. What a great night of professional wrestling action. It was the best local show I've ever seen. Love when importance is on the in-ring product. By the end of the night, some of the guys I've never really cared for showed me that they have something special to offer. There are a select few that I think could even make an impact in the big leagues if given the opportunity. Wonderful company, great action, amazing night!

Good Stuff!

TRP And Other Awesomeness!

It's been so long since I've been to a Top Rope Promotions event that, when Tim asked me last week if I would want to go, I jumped at the chance. He then told me that Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, and Axe from Demolition were headlining, making the opportunity even sweeter.

We decided to start things early by watching some matches to pump ourselves up. Rebecca then joined us for a late afternoon lunch, we came back, watched a few more matches, and then headed out. Was great that Kyle and Jeff met us there.

For the most part, I was very impressed with the matches. There was one exception though. Was extremely sad seeing "The Snake" in such terrible shape. I understand everyone needs a payday once in a while, but there comes a point where you have to realize that you just can't do it anymore, and it's embarrassing for fans to see you.

At intermission, Tim and I took a picture with Brutus. Luckily for me, Rebecca snapped a picture at the same time as the photographer. Thank God she did because, in the Polaroid, I look totally cracked out. Is so bad that I didn't even want to upload it to this post for fear of driving readers away. :) This one is much better.

A highspot-laden, and thoroughly enjoyable ladder match, and an awesome championship match ended the show. The end of the main event totally made me want to go see the triple threat match on June 4th. Good booking.
