Van Repair/Resident Evil Movie: September 28, 2026

 Have wanted to see the new Resident Evil since the first trailer came out. Asked Eric if he wanted to go, he said yes, and we were off. Planned to spend the day in Providence, taking in the sights, and walking around the mall window shopping before the movie, but there was a slight change of plans. The lift in my van has been on the fritz, and in desperate need of attention for quite some time. As Eric had the day off, and we had to pass by the place where repairs are done on the way to our destination anyway, we decided to stop in. Thank God we did, as things were even worse than initially thought. Waited longer than I thought for assessments and estimates, but parts are ordered, and repairs are in the works. Very grateful.

Those ducks in a row, we made our way to the mall to see Resident Evil, and have a quick bite. Food was run-of-the-mill mall, but enjoyable. The movie itself was pretty good, but had nothing much to do with the games, and ended on a cliffhanger. Apparently, there are going to be two more. I'm a completist, so I'll definitely be checking them out.

All and all, it was a great day, with accomplished goals, and my favorite person. No complaints here.
