Tin Man Of Oz ( A Shadow Of Oz Short Story)

This exceptionally short tale explores the origins of the Tin Man.  While the premise may seem intriguing, the story lacks depth and character development.  How is one supposed to become engrossed in a story when motives and reasoning are so poorly explained?  As with the first book, these important elements are glossed over in favor of a faster pace.  The rushed feel comes at the expense of enjoyment.

Even with all its imperfections, there are enough charming elements for it to be fairly entertaining.  If you're familiar with the style of the author, and can overlook these issues, you'll enjoy this quick, fluffy read.
