Spin!

People drive me crazy!  Don't realize you made a mistake, correct it, and then cast yourself as the hero.  Since the announcement of AMC and OLTL coming to OWN, Oprah has gone in to super spin mode.

"I heard you! You Facebook’d, you tweeted, and I listened."

Seriously?  Prospect Park ring a bell?  Everyone needs to stop heaping praise on The Big O, and remember that she made it crystal clear that she wanted nothing to do with these shows when they were canceled.  The only reason she changed her mind is because a soap is the only thing keeping her network on the air.  If The Haves And The Have Nots had bombed, she would have went right on ignoring our pleas.  I'm grateful she came to the realization that daytime drama is still powerful, but don't be mistaken.  It's all about dollars and cents.  If I hear one more person thank her for "saving our soaps", I'll go insane.
