An Entire Litter!

Turns out, my sister was my secret Santa. Had a pretty good idea I'd be getting the second and third seasons of Boy Meets World, but hadn't a clue about these guys! I was surprised how quickly they adjusted and adapted to their new home. For safety sake though, I put them on their own shelf. Don't want the other figurines getting territorial.

Rare Moment Of Sweetness!

I say rare because he's not usually that nice to Jill. For some reason last night though, he was all about her.

The Game!

A present from Tim! How awesome am I going to look strutting the BCC campus with this?! I'll be known as The King Of Kings for sure! :)

Quote Of The Moment

"Time cast its spell on you, but you won't forget me. I know I could have loved you, but you would not let me. I'll follow you down till the sound of my voice will haunt you. You'll never get away from the sound of the woman that loves you."
-Silver Springs-Fleetwood Mac

Kings Of Wrestling!

Another extraordinary ROH event! While 99% of the matches were solid and above, it seemed as though some of the guys were holding back. Truth be told, I probably would to if I had an iPPV the next night. That said, there are ways of being careful and conserving energy without letting the audience know. Anyway, even with those small quibbles, it was amazing. I can't tell you how awesome it was to see the Briscoes live again. Definitely one of the best tag teams today. Speaking of tag teams, the match of the night was The American Wolves vs. The Kings Of Wrestling! What a war! The match was so intense and beautiful! Back-and-forth, clean, and hard-hitting. There's something about watching someone get their head kicked off that really gets my blood pumping! Awesome time with the best bud!

Done!

All my Christmas shopping is done! With the exception of one gift, it was pretty easy this year. Can't wait to see reactions! Less than a week!

Mixed...

So, what does everyone think of the new logo? Haven't made up my mind yet. Saw the new opening, and while I'm sure it will look great in HD, I'm very sad to see the iconic photo album is no more. Wish they would pay proper respect to history. Anything new takes some getting use to, but I have a feeling it won't be long.

January!

Barbra recently revealed that she will be recording in January! Does this mean a new studio album is in the works? I certainly hope so! Love Is The Answer is amazing! Will be interesting to see how she follows up the chart-topper.

Leave Of Absence...

Don't expect to see Angie anytime soon. Debbi Morgan is taking an indefinite leave of absence from All My Children. All that's known as of this post is that personal issues are the reason. What does this mean for the Hubbard family? How will the issue of Angie's pregnancy be dealt with? Her blindness? So many questions. Story disruptions aside, I hope all is well with Debbi, and Angie returns to my screen soon!

December 17th!

Here's the card, as it stands now, for the December 17th show in Plymouth.

The Kings Of Wrestling vs. The American Wolves

Non Title Match: ROH World Champion Roderick Strong (with Truth Martini) vs. Kenny Omega

“Pick Your Poison” Rematch: Jay And Mark Briscoe vs. Kevin Steen And Steve Corino

Special Challenge Match #1: Kenny King vs. Adam Cole

Special Challenge Match #2: TJ Perkins vs. Kyle O’Reilly

Trial Series- Match #5: Andy “Right Leg” Ridge vs. Christopher Daniels

OUT!!!

Finn Wittrock is out at All My Children. From what I hear, the new regime doesn't see the point of Damon. I hate when the guard changes, and doesn't like anything that doesn't have their handprint on it. Extremely unprofessional. Boy, do I feel bad for Tad. What's the point of discovering a long-lost son just to lose him in such short order? Poor guy! Look for Damon to exit in the next couple weeks.

Quitter!

One of my Christmas wishes has been granted early. MVP has quit WWE! I've never seen the point of this talentless jobber, and am so happy he'll no longer be polluting WWE television! Merry Christmas to me!

Of course, when someone cuts ties with WWE, everyone wonders the over/under time of a TNA debut. Knowing the caliber and talent of their booking committee and creative team, Tim and I put our heads together, and came up with the perfect gimmick. MVP is brought in to tag with The Pope, they're outfitted in prison garb and chains, and dubbed The Ex Con Connection! Come on now, is that not brilliant?! Just to be clear, my best bud and I aren't racists. We've just been watching wrestling long enough to know how dumb supposed creative geniuses usually are. The two of us just thought we'd light the spark, and let the volcano of creative juices flow!

Nomination!

Barbra's latest album, Love Is The Answer, has been nominated for a Grammy in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category! What wonderful news! The album is one of her best in years, and deserves recognition as such. It would be so amazing if she won! My wheels are crossed for you, Barbra!

Airdates!

Sarah Glendening will debut as Marissa on December 21st. Tell me again, why was this role recast? Sure, it took a little while for Brittany Allen to find her legs. In my opinion, she hasn't only found them, but is standing taller on them then most of the young adult cast. This is senseless and unfortunate.

Meanwhile, Daniel Cosgrove brings Scott back to Pine Valley on December 27th. While I don't remember much about Mr. Cosgrove's first time around, I do remember thinking he didn't do much with the role. In all fairness, that could be because Scott has always been a terribly bland character. I'm willing to give him a chance.

Up To Date!

A couple of days ago, I thought a DVD had crashed my computer. Fortunately, all it did was screw up some drivers that were easily restored. The scare out of the way, I decided to backup all of my important files just to be safe. Did that this morning, and updated all important hardware and software with the newest features while I was at it. Everything seems to be working wonderfully now. Hopefully, it stays that way.

Great Turkey Day!

Awesome day yesterday! Everything went off without a hitch! After a wonderful dinner, we watched a marathon of The Waltons. Never realized what a good show that is. Nephews, niece, and their parental units came later, and the beautiful insanity began. Loved yesterday! Amazing!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! Don't forget to show appreciation for all that you have, surround yourself with loved ones, and eat till you puke!

"Light The Corners Of My Mind..."

Right On The Money!

"Well, obviously, WWE creative is more worried about ratings then the integrity of their storylines. They seem to be working on a 'catch as catch can' basis for their writing, and I wouldn't expect it to stop until they start gearing up for 'Mania."

That was Tim's response to my observation that WWE doesn't allow feuds to build long enough for fans to get emotionally invested. So astute and on point. While I can't ever see going back to the days where rivalries lasted a year or more, there's got to be a happy/medium somewhere. I think business would improve all around if those in charge would start thinking long-term.

AWESOME!!!

That's right, you're looking at the face of the new WWE champion! In what I consider an absolutely brilliant move, The Miz cashed in his title shot, and took full advantage of a vulnerable Randy Orton. While I question the logic of it happening on Raw, instead of at Survivor Series the night before, I couldn't be happier. This title win proves that hard work and dedication are rewarded. Don't know how long it will last, but am going to enjoy every second!

The One And Only...

Found this while looking through my photo albums earlier. Pugsley was such a good dog. Would love to get another someday, but he'll always be the best.

Good Day!

I've got so much accomplished today! New parking permit, finally had a new key made, groomed cat, a gift I ordered arrived in perfect condition, and have a possible lead on the rest of the Evita's I need! Feels so good to get things done!

One Of The Best Of 2010!

I went into Survivor Series not expecting much. Surprisingly, it was one of the best PPV's of the year. Loved that the majority of the matches finished clean. Ziggler vs. Kaval took the spotlight for me. Was a great back-and-forth athletic contest. Hope this feud continues to build. DiBiase vs. Bryan was a very close second. I'm glad that junior stepped up his game, and showed that he can hang with superior talent. Not going to waste space on Cena, except to say that I wish the retirement angle was a shoot. Tim and I agree that it was extremely disrespectful. Can't believe there were actually people buying into that shit. Anyway, I definitely recommend catching the replay if you're even remotely interested. Was an awesome way to spend three hours.

We kept score, and, as you can see, Tim got schooled. ;)

Humiliated!

Had to have a bath, because he was smelling quite gross. He didn't take too kindly to the paparazzi chasing him with a camera. As humiliating as it was, it sure did make for a great picture.

Dixie...

My cousin's dog. For those wondering, she's named after an All My Children character. :)

Royal Rumble!

Tim and I are going to the Royal Rumble, baby! I can't believe it! Have always wanted to see a pay-per-view live with my best friend, and it's actually going to happen. Amazing! Can't wait till January 30th!

2011!

Just got an email from Gabe Sapolsky! How exciting! Was a huge fan of his booking in Ring Of Honor, and am an even bigger fan of it in Dragon Gate USA. Anyway, he wrote me to say that he hopes DGUSA will return to this area sometime in 2011. Awesome news. You can bet Tim and I will be front row! Fingers crossed!

Every Week!

Please, make it stop! I remember looking forward to Friday cliffhangers. Those days are long gone. For well over a month, Ryan and Greenlee are the last people I see before Pine Valley goes dark for the weekend. I hate them! As a matter of fact, everyone does. If it truly is a Frons mandate to play them everyday, he needs to be shown the door. What ever happened to the days of slow builds? Maybe there wouldn't be such contempt for these characters if they weren't monopolizing our television screens. How loud do we have to scream before our voices are heard?

Open The Freedom Gate

Just finished watching Open The Freedom Gate. What amazing wrestling action! Dragon Gate USA is quickly becoming my favorite wrestling promotion. BxB Hulk won the Open The Freedom Gate championship in an extraordinary contest. I could ramble on for hours, but am going to stop. Trust me, you'll be hearing plenty more about Dragon Gate USA.

Permanent Exit!

This is the best news I've heard in a while. Apparently, in the next couple of weeks, there is a plane crash, and Zach is presumed dead. So excited! I hate him! Hope Thorsten and Zach never return!

"Don't Cry For Me..."

I remember seeing a commercial for a tour of Evita during The Tony Awards, insisting to Krystal that we had to go, and getting tickets the next morning. Admittedly, I can't recall much about the performance. I'm sure I was much too enthralled to really take anything in. It must have been wonderful, because I don't remember having any complaints. When I asked Krystal what she thought of the show, she said she'd enjoyed it, but didn't understand where the dog came into play. I was confused, and assured her that there weren't any canine musical numbers. "Why did Che keep referring to a flying dog then?" I laughed. "Not High Flying, A Dog, honey, High Flying, Adored."

My First Live PPV!

What an awesome night this was! Sure, I didn't get to see much of anything once the action started, but just being at a pay-per-view was totally enough. I remember, from time to time, Krystal would stand up and describe what was happening in the ring. For some unknown reason, the Titantron was used sparingly that night. The main event was John Cena vs. Edge, and Krystal and I booed Cena out of the building. Great memories!

Never Anything Like It!

If I were to look back at all the wrestling related entries on my blog, I'd surely come across several instances where I refer to a match or event as the best I've ever been a part of. All previous mentions to that effect are officially null and void. On October 29, 2010, I saw Dragon Gate USA live for the first time. I honestly don't even know how to begin to describe what I was feeling. This was, bar none, the greatest professional wrestling action I've ever seen. No Sports-Entertainment here, just legit, kick-ass action! That Tim was there to share it with, made it the perfect experience. Don't see any other wrestling ever comparing!

Halloween!

Halloween was so much fun this year Seeing the nephews and niece all dressed up was awesome! Great food, great company, great night!

Doofus!

Only cat I've ever known that isn't really afraid of water. The sink is one of his favorite places to lay. Trying to break him of the habit, but there's no denying he's a cutie!

Very Strange...

Just want to preface this post by saying that I don't know much about UFC, am not a fan, and have no history with the sport.

After hearing all the hoopla about Lesner vs. Velasquez, I decided to watch. From the very beginning, it looked to me as if Brock was off his game somehow. The moment Velasquez took him to the mat, I got the impression that Lesner just gave up. Don't know if he was intimidated, or just caught off guard, but the towel was thrown in without much of a fight. Why would he choose to not defend himself? Was losing the fight part of some bigger picture? I really don't know, but something definitely seemed fishy.

As for rumors of a showdown between Brock and The Undertaker at Wrestlemania next year, as much as I'd love to see it, I honestly think there's a better chance of the devil serving snowcones.

New Marissa!

Sarah Glendening will assume the role of Marissa, currently played by Brittany Allen, on December 20th. Allen will last air on December 17th. I like Brittany very much, and don't see the point of recasting the role. Am sad to see her go, but will give Glendening a chance.

Why?

Another new face is headed to Pine Valley. Eddie Matos joins the cast beginning on December 6th. No word yet on who he'll play, or the length of his stay. Why go out of your way to sign all these newbies, when you can bring back familiar faces, make fans happy, and possibly improve ratings?

Beware!

If you have the 7th generation 160 GB Ipod, do not use Itunes 10! After all the trouble I've been through in the last couple weeks, I finally realize it's to blame. For some unknown reason, they aren't compatible. Switched to version 9.2, and things seem to be working just fine. As much as it sucks that it took me so long to figure out, at least I know. When stuff like this happens, and a tip I've learned can possibly save someone a hassle, I like to share.

Date!

Circle November 16th, people! Barbra will appear on Oprah that day, and perform live! Maybe she'll drop some hints about her next album. Can't wait!

Magic!

Got to love the good ol' disappearing finger trick!

Yet Another...

Feeling bad with all these dishonorables lately, but here we go.

Debbi Morgan as Angela. When she was blaming David for her blindness once again, and started to get hysterical, I almost deleted the episode. When you're emotional to the point where you're not making sense, and we can't understand what you're saying, it's time to pull it back into focus. The entire scene just came off insincere. Just terrible.

Oprah!

Barbra will appear on Oprah in November! If you can believe the teaser I saw yesterday, she's going to perform as well! Very exciting!

Major Return?

Nelson Branco, of TV Guide Canada fame, is reporting that All My Children is negotiating the return of a major fan favorite. Who could it be? Who would make the biggest impact? My two cents...

Alexa Havins as Babe/Marissa: How amazing would it be to have this actress back on my screen everyday? I know I'm in the minority, but I really enjoyed the trailer park flavor that Babe infused Pine Valley with. With Marissa supposedly set to be recast, why not let this powerful actress sink her teeth into the role? A little hair dye, and Jacob Young's JR could finally have someone good to spar with.

Michael Nader as Dimitri: I'm saying it now, Dimitri is Erica's one and only true love. Think about it, this would be incredible! Dimitri could come back to town to reclaim Wildwind. After he chews up Caleb and spits him out, he sets his sights on Erica, thus saving her from this dreadfully boring triangle that seems to be developing. Sign me up!

Josh Duhamel as Leo: I'd take character and actor back however I could get them. Greenlee isn't the same without her soulmate around to cause trouble with. Not going to go on a big rant. Everyone already knows how I feel about my Leo. I still weep in the still of the night.

Cady McClain as Dixie: The only character that I truly believe could save AMC from constant fear of cancellation. Tad and Dixie fans don't play! Would love to see the inevitable romance, battles with Krystal, a positive influence on JR, and her reaction to Caleb. Would definitely be must-see TV!

These are just a few of my picks. All unlikely, I know, but I can dream.

Four Years Ago Today...

I saw Barbra Streisand in concert four years ago today. Still can't believe I was lucky enough to be in the same building with her. Hearing that voice in person is one of the greatest experiences I've ever had. Absolutely unforgettable! Will cherish the memory forever!

Disgusted!

Absolutely cannot believe that Joshua won season 4. Disgusting! All right, maybe that's a little harsh, but there were definitely people more deserving. Twitch grew exponentially throughout the season, as did Courtney. Let's not forget about my Gev, either. Not saying Joshua is completely devoid of talent, just that I think America made the wrong choice.

Cute! Cute!

Was hoping I'd find a picture of this! Isn't it adorable? I told you everything at the nephew's party was dinosaurs. Love how the cake look like dirt! Awesome!
