Another branch of the same tree. JR goes to the boathouse to meet Sweeney, and finds him dead. What does he do? Exactly what's expected. Run to Adam for an alibi, that daddy is all too willing to give. Broken record time. When is this kid going to learn that there are consequences to actions? Of course we know he didn't kill the drug-pushing underling, but this could be a perfect scared straight opportunity. How much worse is a situation going to have to be before this idiot wakes up to the world? So frustrating.
By the way, Dixie thinks Tad is guilty because of what Derek told her, and now she's just another person mixed up in this web. I know it's a daytime drama, so there's always ridiculous craziness, but don't Tad and Dixie deserve a little peace at some point?
Leo/Greenlee/Laura triangle is starting to heat up. Less than 24 hours after bringing Laura home from the hospital, Leo is already regretting his matrimonial decision. Till death do us part was a much easier pill to swallow when he thought the window was finite. Feeling trapped by obligation never kicked in so quickly. Doesn't help that Greenlee has gotten over the hurt of betrayal, realizes she still loves him, and is in his face declaring so rather loudly every two seconds. Won't be long before Leo can't resist the heart pull that is Greenlee Smythe. Genuinely feel for Laura. She gave Leo several chances to tap out, and he refused. She should not have to bare the consequences of his inability to make the right decision. Gallantry through obligation will lead to nothing but heartache.
