Spinelli?

Daytime Confidential is reporting Bradford Anderson may be bringing Damian Spinelli back to Port Charles in early 2015.  While it's speculation at this point, his return is expected to throw a wrench in the blossoming Nathan/Maxie romance.  Honestly, I don't see the point in this.  Last we checked in, Spinelli seemed perfectly content with his life, and happy that Maxie had found a good man.  Any reason given for him to assert himself in her life would seem contrived, and forced to me.  He's matured substantially, and I'd hate to see an unnecessary regression.  A triangle just doesn't make sense.

If, however, Spinelli returns to town as part of the reveal that Jason is alive, I'd welcome it.  The two were best friends, after all.  Am very interested to see what the chemistry between Bradford and Billy is like.  Can't imagine it being anything but wonderful.  We shall see what happens if the rumblings turn into anything.
