Really?!

Confirmation!

In a recent interview, Michael E. Knight confirmed that Dixie will indeed be coming back alive. When asked if the final go-round will satisfy the fans, Knight hints that things will be wrapped up neatly, with a air of continuation in the event that the show is picked up by another network. I wholeheartedly trust Lorraine Broderick and Agnes Nixon, and know they'll do their absolute best to deliver closure to all T & D loyalists.

Quote Of The Moment...

"Did she make you cry? Make you break down? Shatter your illusions of love? Is it over now? Do you know how to pick up the pieces and go home?"
-Goldust Woman-Fleetwood Mac

Preach!

Eddie Matos out! Dastardly Reverend State Farm makes his final appearance on June 2nd. What was the point of this whole storyline if Zach is coming back? Months of horrible acting, terrible dialogue, and completely unbelievable situations all for not! I get a migraine when I think of how much time was wasted with this garbage! One of the worst villains in AMC history!

You're FIRED!

Where to begin? First comes the news that General Hospital's highly controversial top scribe, Robert Guza, has been relieved of his duties. While I don't have a history with the show, I'm very excited. For the short time that I did watch, the central focus of mob activity made it tough to enjoy. Hopefully, Garin Wolf will refocus the show around vets, provide much-needed balance, and get back to the basics of character-driven storytelling. I think I'm going to tune back in when his material starts airing.

A big congratulations to fans of Days Of Our Lives! Expert hack Dena Higley has finally been shown the door. I was starting to wonder how far the ratings would have to fall before something was done. DOOL continues to defy the odds. I won't be watching, but have high hope that ratings and quality improve. Anytime a daytime drama takes a step in a positive direction, I'm there cheering it on. I hope that these two firings are a sign of renewed faith and commitment on behalf of the people in charge.

Possibility?

This is probably me getting excited for nothing, but just go with it. Was just visiting my favorite AMC message board, and saw that a fan tweeted Josh Duhamel about a possible return. The fan asked:

"With ABC so cruelly cancelling AMC, would you be willing to come back and have Leo reunite with Greenlee if asked?"

Josh responded: "AMC fans will just have to wait to find out."

Honestly, I almost shit myself when I read that. Everyone knows that Leo Du Pres is my all-time favorite character. I've never, for one second, believed that he drowned. Don't think there's enough time to bring Leo back alive, but could definitely see Greenlee dying, and the two reuniting in heaven. I can't even begin to explain what it would mean to me for the show to end with MY COUPLE together again!

Airdates...

First, some happy news. Cady McClain and Dixie return on May 17th! Though I've voiced my displeasure about Dixie's many returns in varying degrees, as the final one nears, I feel the excitement building.

Now, the sad. The last original episode of All My Children will air on September 23rd. Still kind of stunned. Don't want to believe it. Very upsetting.

The Latest...

About a week ago, I got an email from Dragon Gate USA letting me know that the June 3rd event was switching locations. Apparently, Patriot Place canceled the booking for no apparent reason. Wonderland Ballroom in Revere will now play host. Thank God it wasn't moved too far away, or canceled entirely. Three matches have been announced.

Ricochet vs. Yokosuka

Austin Aries vs. Johnny Gargano

Dragon Gate USA Tag Champions PAC and Masato Yoshino vs. YAMATO and Akira Tozawa for the Open the United Gate Title.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I may actually get to meet Austin Aries! I can't believe it! This promises to be an unforgettable night!

Melt Your Heart!

How adorably sweet does my little niece look in these pictures? Great Easter portraits! It's crazy how fast she's growing up.

Nominations!

Daytime Emmy nominations were announced this morning! Here's how the important categories shook down for AMC.

Outstanding Drama Series
Outstanding Lead Actor: Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake)
Outstanding Lead Actress: Debbi Morgan (Angie), Alicia Minshew (Kendall)
Outstanding Supporting Actress: Melissa Claire Egan (Ex-Annie)
Outstanding Younger Actress: Brittany Allen (Ex-Marissa)

While I'm glad All My Children has been recognized, two nominations baffle me. I love Ricky Paull Goldin, but what exactly has he done to deserve this? I honestly can't think of anything worthy. Brittany Allen is in the exact same boat for me. I'm a fan, but just don't get the nomination. Guess I should try to find the reels somewhere. Anywho, congratulations to all!
