Very Strange...

Just want to preface this post by saying that I don't know much about UFC, am not a fan, and have no history with the sport.

After hearing all the hoopla about Lesner vs. Velasquez, I decided to watch. From the very beginning, it looked to me as if Brock was off his game somehow. The moment Velasquez took him to the mat, I got the impression that Lesner just gave up. Don't know if he was intimidated, or just caught off guard, but the towel was thrown in without much of a fight. Why would he choose to not defend himself? Was losing the fight part of some bigger picture? I really don't know, but something definitely seemed fishy.

As for rumors of a showdown between Brock and The Undertaker at Wrestlemania next year, as much as I'd love to see it, I honestly think there's a better chance of the devil serving snowcones.

Ah Regis, your crossing into my territory now :) (UFC) I'm glad you watched. I'm a huge UFC fan and using the training methods of the athletes to get myself back into *cough* shape for the wedding.. Now about Lesnar vs Valesquez.. It was well booked fight with one fatal flaw.. Cain was simply too experienced for Brock. Cain came in with 8-0 record having fought some huge names (destroyed may be a better word) and was a NCAA All American at Arizona State Univ in Wrestling.. Brock was 5-1. the wagers with pretty much split and I had predicted Cain...

This Saturday Spike is showing UFC 122 live on tv.. Headlined by Nate Marquardt Vs. Yushin Okami... This is gonna be a first rate fight for a freebie so hope you ll get to see it.

Sorry haven't been around much a-lot has been happening.. hopefully soon..
