Perfection! Streisand's best release since Higher Ground, Guilty Pleasures is as wonderful as an album can be. Every track is sung flawlessly. While hers is not the same voice of twenty-five years ago, Barbra, like a fine wine, seems to improve with age. There are those who choose to dismiss this effort as an unsuccessful attempt by Ms. Streisand to return to the glory days of its predecessor. I couldn't disagree more. Not being a fan of Guilty, I see it as absolutely pointless drawing comparisons between the two. Unlike many of the albums that came before it, everything about Guilty Pleasures is timeless. Barbra and Barry have created a masterpiece. This work should be the one by which Streisand measures all future projects. Bravo!

Guilty Pleasures
