Breathe In... Breathe Out...

I loved this show when it first started. Will never forget it! Strayed through the years, and while I always found my way back for one reason or another, my fondest memories will always be of that first summer. Passions was awesome!

What A Goof!

Caught someone coming off of catnip in the first shot. Second was taken while watching him trying to attack snow through the window. No one ever accused him of being the smartest in the litter.

Goodbye, Sweet Melissa!

My favorite All My Children actress, Melissa Claire Egan, has announced that she is leaving. I can't even begin to explain what I felt when the news broke. Annie is one of the only reasons I've tuned in for the last couple of years. The official line is that she's leaving of her own accord, but with all the crazy shit happening in the soap world right now, I can't help but wonder if there's more to this story. As of this posting, there's been no word on a final airdate, or exit storyline. With the lack of imagination so evident in the current writing regime, I imagine the easy way out will be taken, Annie will go crazy, and will be shipped off to Oakhaven. It's just so sad. I thought Melissa was a lifer. All the luck in the world to you, my dear. You will be missed!

On this day in 1970, at 12:30 PM, All My Children aired for the first time. While I complain here and there, I legitimately couldn't imagine my life without this show. Happy 41st anniversary!

Goofy!

Didn't get many good pictures over the holiday. Found this one though, and definitely wanted to share. It's a clown nose, but being Christmastime and all, it reminded me more of Rudolf.

Shannon Kane OUT!

Shannon Kane has opted out at All My Children when her contract expires. While I'm not exactly surprised to report this, I am a little disappointed. Natalia wasn't the most popular of characters, but I do believe there was major untapped story potential. The reason for the exit scenes to be a budding film career. I like Shannon, and wish her well in all future endeavors. Natalia last airs regularly in early February, but could return from time to time.
