Very Strange...

Just want to preface this post by saying that I don't know much about UFC, am not a fan, and have no history with the sport.

After hearing all the hoopla about Lesner vs. Velasquez, I decided to watch. From the very beginning, it looked to me as if Brock was off his game somehow. The moment Velasquez took him to the mat, I got the impression that Lesner just gave up. Don't know if he was intimidated, or just caught off guard, but the towel was thrown in without much of a fight. Why would he choose to not defend himself? Was losing the fight part of some bigger picture? I really don't know, but something definitely seemed fishy.

As for rumors of a showdown between Brock and The Undertaker at Wrestlemania next year, as much as I'd love to see it, I honestly think there's a better chance of the devil serving snowcones.

New Marissa!

Sarah Glendening will assume the role of Marissa, currently played by Brittany Allen, on December 20th. Allen will last air on December 17th. I like Brittany very much, and don't see the point of recasting the role. Am sad to see her go, but will give Glendening a chance.

Why?

Another new face is headed to Pine Valley. Eddie Matos joins the cast beginning on December 6th. No word yet on who he'll play, or the length of his stay. Why go out of your way to sign all these newbies, when you can bring back familiar faces, make fans happy, and possibly improve ratings?

Beware!

If you have the 7th generation 160 GB Ipod, do not use Itunes 10! After all the trouble I've been through in the last couple weeks, I finally realize it's to blame. For some unknown reason, they aren't compatible. Switched to version 9.2, and things seem to be working just fine. As much as it sucks that it took me so long to figure out, at least I know. When stuff like this happens, and a tip I've learned can possibly save someone a hassle, I like to share.

Date!

Circle November 16th, people! Barbra will appear on Oprah that day, and perform live! Maybe she'll drop some hints about her next album. Can't wait!

Magic!

Got to love the good ol' disappearing finger trick!

Yet Another...

Feeling bad with all these dishonorables lately, but here we go.

Debbi Morgan as Angela. When she was blaming David for her blindness once again, and started to get hysterical, I almost deleted the episode. When you're emotional to the point where you're not making sense, and we can't understand what you're saying, it's time to pull it back into focus. The entire scene just came off insincere. Just terrible.

Oprah!

Barbra will appear on Oprah in November! If you can believe the teaser I saw yesterday, she's going to perform as well! Very exciting!

Major Return?

Nelson Branco, of TV Guide Canada fame, is reporting that All My Children is negotiating the return of a major fan favorite. Who could it be? Who would make the biggest impact? My two cents...

Alexa Havins as Babe/Marissa: How amazing would it be to have this actress back on my screen everyday? I know I'm in the minority, but I really enjoyed the trailer park flavor that Babe infused Pine Valley with. With Marissa supposedly set to be recast, why not let this powerful actress sink her teeth into the role? A little hair dye, and Jacob Young's JR could finally have someone good to spar with.

Michael Nader as Dimitri: I'm saying it now, Dimitri is Erica's one and only true love. Think about it, this would be incredible! Dimitri could come back to town to reclaim Wildwind. After he chews up Caleb and spits him out, he sets his sights on Erica, thus saving her from this dreadfully boring triangle that seems to be developing. Sign me up!

Josh Duhamel as Leo: I'd take character and actor back however I could get them. Greenlee isn't the same without her soulmate around to cause trouble with. Not going to go on a big rant. Everyone already knows how I feel about my Leo. I still weep in the still of the night.

Cady McClain as Dixie: The only character that I truly believe could save AMC from constant fear of cancellation. Tad and Dixie fans don't play! Would love to see the inevitable romance, battles with Krystal, a positive influence on JR, and her reaction to Caleb. Would definitely be must-see TV!

These are just a few of my picks. All unlikely, I know, but I can dream.

Four Years Ago Today...

I saw Barbra Streisand in concert four years ago today. Still can't believe I was lucky enough to be in the same building with her. Hearing that voice in person is one of the greatest experiences I've ever had. Absolutely unforgettable! Will cherish the memory forever!

Disgusted!

Absolutely cannot believe that Joshua won season 4. Disgusting! All right, maybe that's a little harsh, but there were definitely people more deserving. Twitch grew exponentially throughout the season, as did Courtney. Let's not forget about my Gev, either. Not saying Joshua is completely devoid of talent, just that I think America made the wrong choice.

Cute! Cute!

Was hoping I'd find a picture of this! Isn't it adorable? I told you everything at the nephew's party was dinosaurs. Love how the cake look like dirt! Awesome!

What A Choice!

Can't believe Gev is gone! He won me over, to the point where I wanted him to take it all. Was definitely a difficult choice between he and Mark, and I'm sad to see him go. How Gev's gone, and Joshua is still hanging on... I'm baffled.

Fabulousity!

Went to TRP the other night. What a great night of professional wrestling action. It was the best local show I've ever seen. Love when importance is on the in-ring product. By the end of the night, some of the guys I've never really cared for showed me that they have something special to offer. There are a select few that I think could even make an impact in the big leagues if given the opportunity. Wonderful company, great action, amazing night!

Are You Serious?

My Ipod has shit out on me already! No joke! The thing is only three weeks old! This is ridiculous. It seems no matter what I do, I just don't have luck with this particular electronic. You can bet your sweet wheelchair it's going back to the store, and getting replaced free of charge. I've just about given up on the Ipod.

Kasprzak Attack!

I was so surprised to see my favorite dancer from season 5, Evan Kasprzak, pop up on the final audition stop of season 4. Seeing him again reminded me of just how amazing he is. It was so nice to see Broadway beautifully represented. While I believe he should have went all the way, Evan seems to be doing very well for himself. As an aside, if you want to see some of his amazing So You Think You Can Dance performances, visit his official website. He's truly a treasure.

Let's Try This Again...

Downloading season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance. It's been way too long! Was going through withdrawal. So looking forward to watching. I know Mark competes, and I love him, so I should have no problem sticking with it until the end.

YOWZA!!!

Without a doubt, Maryse is the hottest woman in WWE right now! Not only is she stunningly beautiful and incredibly sexy, but her in-ring work improves everytime she steps between the ropes.

Someone's In The Kitchen...

Cheesy Barbecue Chicken Nachos! Absolutely amazing, and so easy to make! Had them for the first time a couple of days ago, and while they can't appear on my menu too often because of the barbecue sauce, I foresee them becoming one of my favorite cheats!

Rockin' The Do!

I love purple hair! After several attempts, I finally have it! Yes!

Alter Ego

This game is unlike any other I've ever played. Unique in that you get to experience the action from two very different perspectives, this point-and-click adventure will keep you guessing even after it ends. Superior voice acting, beautiful graphics, and in intriguing story are all very big pros. On the flip side, decent size cons include extremely slow response times in certain areas, audio and video lagging, or in some cases cutting out entirely, and an abrupt, somewhat unsatisfactory ending. Does good outweigh bad? For my money, yes. If the sequel the ending seems to elude to ever materializes, I'll be the first in line to play.

Note: Before installing the game, it's best to make sure audio and video drivers are up-to-date.
