Force leading man Walt Willey out by drastically reducing his airtime, and put the most popular actress in the history of daytime television, Susan Lucci on recurring status in hopes that she'll quit. Why? Easy. It would be much cheaper to produce the show in LA, and what better way to cut costs than to fire two of your most well-paid stars? No, I'm not kidding. Enjoy AMC while you can, people.
